User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI live down in the valley, but travel up to Prescott several times a year. Last year my family happened upon Papa's Italian Restaurant by recommendation from a stranger at the grocery store.
I love this place. Small, quaint, and cozy. The food was just like homemade. This has the best soup I have ever eaten. My mom doesn't usually eat soup, but the Minestrone was so good, we ordered more for home!
The owners are very hospitable and the waiters are very kind. It is not a fancy place but it has a charming intimate atmosphere.The food is comfort food.-

Absolutely the best Italian food I've ever had. The atmosphere is quaint and calm. I was having dinner with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while and we were able to have a discussion without yelling across the table. The service was some of the most excellent in town. Our server as well as the owners were very helpful. If nothing else you MUST go here to try the Tiramisu; it was the best I've ever tasted. I know everyone worries about the cost in this type of economy so rest assured a visit Papas will not break the bank. I highly recommend giving them a try!

Definitely check out this GREAT Italian Restaurant! New Owners...Much better Food and enviornment! Love the Homemade soup...The sauce tastes fresh...no more canned taste. Nice staff and the prices are reasonable. The owners are Italian..."Mama" is very sweet. This restaurant serves "REAL" Italian food. Yumm!
