The tall guy with attitude behind counter was full of himself. Said he was the manager. I asked for one model/caliber of gun in particular, and he told me that particular brand of gun was a piece of $&%#,
He then said, "Here is a better gun" that costs twice as much, and not even in the caliber I wanted.
Fine on cost and brand maker of gun, but he at least could have given me a good sales pitch instead of treating me like an F'n idiot.
I later bought same gun he showed me, at another location in the caliber I wanted, and was treated like a customer with money.
I would have gladly waited two weeks, for this shop to order that same model in the right caliber, without the attitude, and belittled customer effect. I bought a gun at this place years ago from "Carl" the owner, and was treated with the upmost respect and due diligence.
Where's Carl???????
This manager guy needs to remember he may run that place, but his attitude, and references should be kept to himself, and needs to sell what a customer wants.
I stopped by this morning to talk to a sales person. Part way through the conversation the phone rang and I was put on hold not the phone call. It was a long call and I finally walked out. I guess phone calls have priorty. Oct 2010
