My husband and I went to Jessica's and I enjoyed it very much. This is a restaurant that serves real food. Not the packaged stuff of Denny's etc. You get what you pay for. Yes, it was a little pricey but well worth it. I even added a good tip. Three of us ate for $40.00 with the large tip included. We went during a slow time between normal meals and enjoyed talking with the staff.
I read the review that says he thinks these good reviews are planted. I was thinking the bad ones seem like they are all from the same person. The wording is very similar. And if the wording changes it only means he read my review.
When it comes to food you can't please everyone. Some people enjoy more spice than others. You expect some good and some bad reviews. With food most people have strong opinions.
As for this restaurant I think those with a low opinion are not use to good food but usually eat low cost packaged food at Denny's, McDonalds etc.. Just my opinion.
This was, without doubt, the worst restaurant experience of my life.
My entree tasted as though it had spent its first 20 years in the freezer, having not a hint of liveliness or freshness. My companion's Greek salad was incredibly basic, consisting of 80% lettuce, 15% raw onion, 2 olives and a few scraps of tomato and fetid-tasting feta. Price for this salad: $18.
For a near-empty restaurant, the service was unbelievably slow and erratic. The owner was intrusive and obnoxious. He joined our table uninvited and harangued us for ages about the wonders of his homeland, as well as asking prying questions about our personal affairs. All this in a loud, relentless near-monologue. He would not stop talking at us even after we had finished our horrible meal. This fellow possesses all the sensitivity and social grace of a hyena afflicted with Münchausen syndrome by proxy.
As an aside, I regard the positive reviews made here as highly suspicious. Why do most of the reviews give Jessica's just one star, and all the rest 4 or 5 stars? The fulsome praise of the latter makes it hard to believe they are not fake, and that they have not been planted by or on behalf of the proprietor. Where are all the so-so or middling reviews you would normally also expect to find if the restaurant was basically OK and the reviews were all genuine?
The bottom line is: Eat anywhere but here unless you really don't care what you stuff into your mouth, or who else sits down to eat with you.
My wife and me were living in a motel nearby, a lady living beside us recommended this restaurant with comment: "Everything in this restaurant is good, try it, u won't regret."
Our very first dinner on 15Nov08 8pm:
- Fresh Shrimp Salad
- Soup of the day: Mixed Veg Soup
- Meat sauce spaghetti
The tiny shrimp tasted very fresh, mixing with vinegar and veg tasted awesome refreshing.
The soup tasted similar but better than campo's.
The home made meat sauce was great.
Our breakfast the next day:
Pancake 3pc - average
Toast on the side - good
Eggs + Corned Beef + Hash Browns - very good
Orange juice - canned juice
Hot Chocolate - very good
Since both of us don't prefer (actually can't afford) greasy, deep fried or junky food, we enjoyed the meals here very much. I'd recommend this restaurant for everyone who enjoy heathy and refreshing style meals.
P.S. If your preference is towards restaurants like Denn*y's, McDonal*d, pls don't try this restaurant.

Hi Zabzab !! I was there a month ago with my familly to eat. I saw big differents about the service, food, what ever you wrote here, It was everything great! Make sure you are talking for the right place.
I assume that was another faked endorsement on the part of the owner of this rebarbative eatery. He must be desperate, and desperately short of ideas, if he thinks this is the best way to drum up new business. The place needs a total redo, starting with the management and the menu. Otherwise it will be neither rescuable nor worth rescuing.
zabzab: Are you a competitor or something. I can't imagine anyone else would come here so often to trash this business. If you are not a competitor you need to get a life. WE enjoyed our meals here and YOU didn't.
