I would not suggest nor will I ever use this company again. My computer was held for three months while the technician waited for a new CPU and Motherboard to be shipped from my computer manufacturer as they were under warranty. He had not known for sure whether it was the Motherboard or CPU that went bad so he sent them both in. The issue was that the computer was turning on but not signaling the monitor to come on. Well finally he fixed the computer and got it back to me. When I received it, the two screws that held the side panel on were missing, also a foot was missing. When I opened the case, I discovered that he had removed my liquid cooling system, something I did not ask for nor did I authorize, and gotten the coolant all over the case and some of the parts. He said that was why my CPU and Motherboard went bad, that the liquid cooling was not sufficient for the system, so he replaced the expensive cooling that was built FOR the computer with a cheap fan, without notifying me or having such a "repair" authorized by me, the owner of the computer. This computer also has a dual video card chip, that can be turned around, which he had scratched up and GLUED in place! Not only that, but he also installed a few programs on my computer that I did not ask for, one of them being a threat scanner which he charged me $60.00 for! At the time I just wanted my computer to work, so I paid him and went on my way. Well now, a little over a year later, the computer has broke again with the same exact issue, which luckily with a trustworthy and knowledgeable friend's help, he discovered the problem was a burned video card connection. Save yourself the money and the hassle and find someone that has experience with newer computers.
We received excelent service on our P.C.: Our original problem, was that we could not logon to the internet with our localDSL service. We first complained to the phone company, however, they told us that their equipment was working just fine. Then we call ed Jim at Uneeda; he came when he promised that he would and he had our problem repaired and machine working A-O.K. within just over one hour. His rates were quite reasonable and the tech (jim) was quite informative and courteous. We would recomment his service to any of our friend & aquaibtenses! GOOD JO JIM!
Whatta joke: Instead of repairing my computer, I was told to "call" msn to find out why I couldn't access WM, hotmail, etc. For over $100, I ended up with nothing but a new virus scan after being convinced that my present one wasn't adequate. I then ended up spending $120 to have someone that knew what they were doing find the problem, and fix it. So, I would NOT recommend this company unless you just have money you want to throw away.
