| About: | The first restaurant to open in Tlaquepaque shopping and gallery village combines Mexican, Southwestern and Native American influences. Voted Sedona's best Mexican restaurant for 16 years running it is a favorite to enjoy a house special Margarita Magnifica . Spanish-style furnishings, arched doorways and brightly colored tableware afford a festive feel. Burritos, enchiladas, tacos, tostadas and quesadillas make up the majority of the menu. Navajo Pizzas (similar to fry bread), Chiles Rellenos (stuffed chiles) and Chimichangas are also worth a try. Main courses are mostly in the $12-18 range. |

I could not have been less pleased with the welcome my family and friends received upon our visit to this restaurant. Apparently we committed the cardinal sin of not having a reservation even though the restaurant was nearly empty. We were very pleasant and asked if any seating was available. We were told that it would be no problem even though an older woman with short gray hair seemed to have an issue. After being seated, we continued to receive attitude, especially from the older gray haired woman. We opted to leave after ordering drinks. For a business that is reliant upon the good will of its customers, this one seems not to give two hoots! We took our $125 worth of business to the competition. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant and I will be telling my many friends who live in the area about my experience.
What kind of restaurant serves WHITE GUACAMOLE? Ok, it was pale mint green, but it was almost white.
This place serves very low quality ingredient food.
It's Taco Bell with seating and cranky servers.
However, their margaritas were good and only slightly overpriced.
Love it. Great food, friendly service. It's a pleasure to dine at El Rincon.
