   Used to be one of our favorite places to eat and take out-of-town guests, but they have gone downhill within the last 3-4 years. Breakfast is still pretty good and the Chicken Fried Steak hasn't changed much...still great. Everything else has evolved into just "average fare", I'm afraid. We've gone from eating there a couple times a month to a couple times a year.

   The "Original": This "Range Cafe" (there are two others in Albuquerque) is not fancy, just consistently good. I've never had a bad "dining" experience here, or at the other two for that matter. If you are looking for "fine dining" you may be disappointed, but for local flavor, and atmosphere, the Range is an interesting place to eat. Great "people watching" place too. Bikers to state politicians, and everything in between. Fine for children too, not a rough spot at all. Recommend the Taco Salad!

   Overpriced & Overrated: one of the worst dinning experiences i've ever had, not once but three seperate times the food is bad the service was worse, the only other resturant that is worse then the range is the Coronado Cantina
