I was there over the 4th of July week 2009 and had a fabulous dinner with a wonderful view of the London Bridge. I did dine by myself however I would definitely reccommend it for couples as a romantic spot to dine. I thought the prices were fair for the quality, being an over the road truck driver it was most definitely a nice change of pace to have excellent service and an excellent meal. There is no smoking inside however there are some benches outside in a relaxing atmosphere to sit and enjoy a smoke if you so desire. I will definitely return. I was also very impressed that the staff went out of there way to check with the local law officials in regards to my parking bobtail in the public parking overnight since I intended to enjoy a glass of wine with my meal and not have to worry about leaving, there is NO OVERNIGHT PARKING in the public parking area however the management was willing to allow me to park in the restaurant employees parking where I would not be bothered by the local police dept. as I was officially on private property. Thank you, Shugrue's for an enjoyable night out.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWE HAVE BEEN GOING TO SHRUGUE'S FOR 10 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL. THE SERVICE IS ALWAYS EXCELLENT AND THE SERVERS ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE. WE ARE PARTICULAR WHEN IT COMES TO FOOD AND THIS RESTAURANT KNOWS WHAT IT IS DOING. SOME PEOPLE THINK BECAUSE OUR TOWN IS SMALL SO SHOULD ALL THE PRICES BE SMALL. I FIND THE PRICES TO BE MODERATE ESPECIALLY WHEN COMPARED TO BIGGER CITES. THEY ALSO HAVE A WINE LIST THAT HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED BY FOOD & WINE MAGAZINE FOR EXCELLENCE.

Shugrue's is a excellent restaurant with the best service in Havasu. Everything is prepard to order, so a guest is not limited to "thats all we have", and "old" food that has been sitting in a pan...like other restaurants that have servers that don't have a clue about the menu(s) they are serving. Not only does Shugrue's produce quality, but the also have $11.95 menus twice a week and a $13.00 menu available everyday for those "Early Birds". The bartenders are creative and make assume drink. I rate Shugrue's a 4 and 1/2 stars.
