Ribs Hickory Pit BBQ

I had Ribs make the lunch for my son's wedding in May 2009. What an amazing experience...I live in Florida and the wedding was in the mountains east of Albuquerque. They worked with me over the phone giving me a quote for 65 people to include plates, utensils, sodas essentially the works. They had everything ready as I got there, the owner went over every detail line by line ensuring there were no unforeseen problems as they loaded the vehicles, he even said to call if we ran out of food or needed anything and they would run it to us. He went so far as loaning me a clean ice chest loaded with ice....no charge. Since we had no electricity they even loaded the hot boxes to keep the food warm....no charge. The boxes worked so well that we had to use napkins to remove the food from the boxes 3 hours after we picked up the food. The food was amazing the brisket was moist and tender, the links were to die for, the chicken was moist and smokey. The sides were beans and potatoe salad they too were amazing. The rolls were fresh and tender and the BBQ sauce is second to none. The vegetarian plates I ordered had baked potatoes so large that 2 people could easily share 1 potatoe. The portion size per person was huge. The food made the wedding and reception such a memorable experience we are still talking about it. When my husband returned the hot boxes, pans and utensils the owner of ribs met with him to make sure that everything went well and the food was good, then he asked if my husband had any suggestions on what he could do to make the experience more pleasureable for the next customer, this was something that neither of us had heard or seen in years. All I can say is WOW, if you want food for any occassion I strongly reccomend you use Ribs you will not be sorry. By the way the price they quoted was what I paid there were no hidden surcharges or surpise fees.

This was my favorite ribs place in the city but has gone downhill. Food dry service horridble. Was very good as well as the other places but all bad now....

This is a very good restaurant. I love the ribs, cobb salad, and prime rib sandwich.
