This is my favorite place to eat. They have great food and you get a little show while they are cooking the food. It is expensive $15 or more a plate but worth it every once in a while and on a special day. The lady up front is rude but you don't have to deal with her much. You will need to make a reservation on the weekend and you can't be late or they will give your table away.
Food is ok, if you are on a diet. The amount given
to you is NOT worth the price. We asked for dessert
and were told "You can order it, but you will have
to eat in the bar, since your table is reserved for
the next party". They try to break a record for
getting you out in 30mins. Hostess (who looks like
a geisha) is rude.
The only reason I don't give this restaurant 5 stars is the arrogance of the Host area up front. Reservations are almost mandatory. If you are straying more than 5 minutes off of your scheduled time or your party is not all there exactly at the same time then be prepared to be chastised by a reception crew that somehow feels you owe them something and you will follow their orders to the T. I don't think the phrase "the customer is always right" has reached this restaurant yet!! I understand that they are seating large tables and need to get everyone started but please stop taking yourselves so seriously, it's just food, not like I'm holding up an open heart surgeon. Once you get past the "Soup Nazi's" up front it is a great place, great food and a fun show to top it all off. I frequent this place as often as I can and am never disappointed once I have made it past inspection. Small parties be prepared to share a table/kitchen with others but if you are OK with it, it's not really as intrusive as you might think.
