User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat food! Excellent service!! We'll definitely be going back. I really think it's luck of the draw on service anywhere you go. We had Barbara for our server last night and she was Outstanding! We asked for her recommendations and boy are we glad that we did. The filet mignon was so tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned. The scallops were perfect, shrimp delicious, and they have the best mozzarella strips of any of the local restaurants that we've tried. Even if the food was just ok we'd be going back because the service was just that good. Everything was great though and made for a very satisfying dinner experience.

User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsNot the dining experience hoped for: Tried Pelicans for an early valentine dinner on a sunday. Less than pleasant hostess, 20-30 minute wait for a NS table when tables were available, 5 minute wait for table in the bar that the hostess had to clean, waiter was good, food came out very fast, barely any time to touch the soup and salad. Food was ok, steak was a bit overdone on one side, felt rushed in what was supposed to be a nice dinner. Nothing romantic about our dining experience here. Hostess had nothing to say to us as we left. We won't be returning here any time soon.
