User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFairly Authentic: As a Mandarin-speaking American who spent much of hios adult life in Taiwan, Sichuan and NE China, I consider myself something of an expert and I give Chow's good marks. The service is always top, and the ambience is pleasant enough. There are some attempts to re-invent the wheel with hybrid NM-Chinese dishes that are semi-successful.
But the good stuff is especially the selection of dishes on the one-page menu insert. Cong Bao Yang Rou (manchurian lamb and onions stir-fry) is rarely found stateside and is done perfectly at Chows. Other dishes are equally good.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat Place!: Many new & different dishes to choose from! A lot of veggie things to try .. great for first time tofu eaters like me! I always like to try something new, and this was the place to do it. Everything on the menu looked good. Will definitely be back soon.
