About:Since 1969 the Powdrell family has been making barbecue favorites such as ribs, chicken, fresh pork, beef brisket and link sausage. The restaurant on Forth Street is a renovated, historic landmark. The country-style decor is simple and goes well with the down-home style food.     This place is kind of funky and smells a bit like methane gas inside, but the food is GREAT! Great BBQ, beans, and a rockin' peach cobbler. Good for big parties. Be sure to lock your car though, neighborhood is kind of shady and we had the car broken into.

    This one get a five star from me. I eaten bar b que around the country and this is one of my favorites. Best bar b que in New Mexico or within 500 miles

    I had heard nothing but good things from this place but having tried it myself I have to say that it SUCKED!!!!!
    I've had better food at Dennys and I hate it there too
