About:The friendly staff at Pasta House makes your dining experience wonderful. This quaint Italian restaurant serves excellent cuisine, with daily specials at reasonable prices. With a couple of them you get a free second serving. Beer and wine are offered, with Cribari as the house wine. It is served by the glass, 1/2 carafe, or carafe. The veal is wonderful, as is the marinara sauce. Try the authentic garlic bread with olive oil and spices. Simply delicious!

    Have enjoyed this restaurant until tonight. We arrived with 5 in our party and were told by the owner the wait would be 30-35 minutes. We said, "No problem!" Approximately 5 minutes into our wait a couple walks right in and walks up to the host area and is immediately greeted by the owner. They hug and chit chat and then the owner has the nerve to tell the couple out loud for everyone to hear, "you guys are here early for your reservation for seven, we'll go ahead and get you seated right away!" It was so obvious that these two didn't have a reservation and were not waiting for the rest of some party. The female looked surprised but very happy to be getting to the front of the line. She even giggled in amazement at her luck. There were at least 3 other parties waiting to be seated that were there for some time. If that is how the owner wants to treat his patrons, so be it. My family has been eating at the Pasta House for over 5 years. After tonite we will NEVER return to give the owner one cent. There's no Good Ol' Boy schemes like this at Olive Garden!

    I'm an ex-New Yorker and I'm rather particular about my Italian food. Pasta House serves the best Italian food here in RIo Rancho; there isn't any restaurant that comes close to Pasta House (not even Olive Garden). The service is excellent, the ambience is soothing, the owner is attentive and the prices are very reasonable. I dine there frequently and I sometimes stop in for an espresso and canolli; the owner, Joe, is very accommodating.
