The best margarita's in Santa Fe's Historic District. As far as food, we only had the trio appetizer with chips...which was great! But all of the food being brought to surrounding customers looked fantastic. I plan on skipping Maria's next time and having dinner here instead!
Ate dinner here on Sunday, July 29, 2007. My wife had enchiladas and sopapillas with a Margarita, and I had the blue cheese burger and a green salad. I also had a pint of the Blue Corn stout. Everything was very good and the check was under $30, even with the two drinks. Service was friendly, fast, and efficient. While this place is a few miles from downtown, it is on "Motel Row" and very convenient, if you don't want the hassle of driving down to the Plaza, looking for parking, etc. I'd go back in a minute. I should point out that this is the restaurant on Cerillos Road, not the parent establishment on Water Street. Just wanted to get that straight.
Consistently Great!: We have eaten at Blue Corn Cafe three times in two visits to Santa Fe...and we're on our way back again this summer. The food is nothing less than fantastic, as is the service. The green chile stew is unbelievably good and, with a pint of their High Altitude Pale Ale, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better lunch. We can't wait to get back to Santa Fe and Blue Corn Cafe!!!
