    Prior to visiting from PA,we did research on NM. We read that even tho The Owl is well known for their chile cheeseburgs, The Buckhorn (across the street) was actually preferred by the locals. It's a hole in the wall but was very busy mid afternoon on Good Friday when we visited. It was well worth the trip down from Albuquerque.

    Best burger around...: Recently rated the number 7 hamburger in the US by GQ. I recomend the Buckhorn burger with a side of onion rings.
