Excellent food, tastes homemade. The atmosphere is fun and the wait staff are efficient and friendly. Especially Debbie, she's awesome!

We saw an advertisement for Dick's Cafe at the Las Cruces Fairfield Inn where we were staying. We saw the 2 Yahoo reviews (1 good, 1 not) and decided to take a chance...and we're glad we did! We arrived and 7:30pm and there wasn't an open table, but a family left and they cleaned the table for us. Our waitress was friendly and was prompt with taking our order and bringing our drinks. The chips (which were homemade) weren't quite ready so we had to wait for them but the wait was worth it. I think these are the best tortilla chips I've ever had!!! The salsa was hot and good. We place our order, my husband had the combination dinner, which he enjoyed except for the beef taquito meat was burnt. I had the enchilada plate with verde sauce and chili con queso, it was awesome, definitely some of the best cheese enchiladas I've ever had. Our nephew had the chicken strip dinner and wasn't able to finish it. Our two boys had the kid's quesadilla meal and loved it. The prices are great, the ambience was fun--definitely like a roadside diner complete with a jukebox. Our family on our way home from vacation from the Grand Canyon back to Houston is so glad that we tried Dick's cafe, definitely try it if you're in Las Cruces, NM!

If you are ever in Las Cruces, NM: If you are ever in Las Cruces, NM and you want to go to a restaurant that is all about value, service, great food and all the things that big chains used to do that got them where they are but have now forgot, then Dick's cafe is the place for you. A testimony of the restaurant is the fact that its salsa is so good, that they have started selling it online and at the restaurant in boat loads. This is only their salsa people! Their food is excellent, the service is fast, and the value is great. You need to stop in and see what's really going on at Dick's Cafe. Don't just take my word for it; go yourself
