User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHead out on the highway: Evett's can truly be said to be in the center of town, on Highway 60 in Magdalena, NM. And it's the center of all things local, also. You'll see everyone you know and a few you don't know if you sit in this one-time bank building and enjoy the food. There's a lot of down home Western eats and it all can be served with green or red chiles. The hamburger steak is the most unusual dish by that name I have ever seen. It's great so don't be afraid to try it. And to top off any of the delicious meals is the best ice cream and ice cream treats for miles around. You can have soft-serve or hard-packed cones, bowls, parfaits, milkshakes, malts. It's a treat to stop at Evett's
