The service team at Shack Findlay Honda are nothing but crooks. I love my Honda CRV and take excellent care of it and have always thought that the dealership was the best place to have it serviced. I have been to the Express Service several times for my oil change. Each time I go, they give me a long list of repairs that need to be done. There is nothing wrong with my car! Twice they have said that my struts needed to be changed...I have had them checked by 2 different garages and both said that there is nothing wrong with them. My last visit they said that the bushings were cracked....I also had them checked with another garage and they were fine! I recently went for another oil change and they rotated my tires. Since the rotation, my car has been driving very bumpy...not usual. I took it back to the Express Service and the only solution the guy had for me was to put it back the way it was or to pay 70.00 to have my tires balanced. I took it to a different garage to have a look at it and they had over 50lbs of air pressure in one tire! They have lost my service for good. Instead of being proud to boast to their customers that their awesome Honda's do not need repairs...they do quite the opposite for the dollar. Not impressed Shack Findlay...not impressed....
My wife and I are now in our 70's and decided to downsize to 1 vehicle. When we arrived at Shack Findley Honda, to my surprise it was the greatest vehicle purchase that we have ever experienced in our years of purchasing any vehicle. We had two vehicles that we traded in and were credited substantially more than we anticipacted. The first vehicle that we purchaed was the Honda Pilot. Although we absolutely loved the Pilot, we found that it would not be able to tow our 36' 5th wheel RV. When we returned to Shack Findlay Honda, I must say that we were once again treated with the highest respect and once again the Honda dealership went above and beyond to assist my wife and I with a vehicle that would be the best for our needs. When speaking with our friends and family we feel that we must share how wonderful the entire new car purchasing process experience was for my wife and I. The service department is just as great. We recently drove to California and got a flat tire and we did not know what to do since the new tires are filled with nitro, I called the service department, they immediately got on the phone and told us exactly what to do and to be sure that we bring our new Honda Oddessy in so that the tire can be taken care of properly. Believe it or not, we actually enjoy returning to the car dealership. My wife and I are greeted by name, they assist us with any question that we have. We have never felt rushed or made to feel like we are waisting their time. When I bring the van in for the free car washes, I can't stop myself from speaking to possible new clients and telling them about our experiences with this great automobile dealership. I highly recommend Shack Findlay Honda to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
Nicest service ever!
Needed to re-set my radio after I had disconnected my battery. Couldn't do it myself, so flew into Honda service just as they were closing up. KINDEST gentleman ever, disconnected and re-connected my battery and re-set my radio for me. And I know he was trying to go home. Above and beyond! Thank you!
