Peppers is a truly local restaurant (in business for nearly two decades!) with a relaxed atmosphere and a good selection of great food. They offer a lunch menu (where I found my new favorite burger: the El Rio Trio. Mmmm...cheesy/spicy goodness!) and a separate dinner menu for a little variety--I recommend the baby back ribs or any of their steaks. Everything is fresh and delicious. If you're from out of town and looking to sample the flavors of the Southwest, by all means check out the array of Mexican entrees. In my experience, the service has always been good. Their prices are really good. The managers make a point to cruise around personally speaking to as many customers as they can even when it's really packed.
NEVER AGAIN: THE FOOD ISN'T THAT GREAT AND THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE YOU START TO GROW MOLD BY THE TIME YOU GET WAITED ON.
good and bad: The food is great....we took my family there during Christmas and everyone loved what they had...Hubby says seafood chimichanga is excellent. We were so thrilled to find a good restaurant in Roswell we went back just the three of us. We sat there for about 15 minutes before a server even "stopped" at our table...about 4 servers walked by we were in the upper section close to the step up, so not sure how they could keep missing us when they visited tables near. However when we got our food it, of course, was good. Service that particular evening was poor! Oh, and I don't get this thing they do here with the seasoning on the chips...whatever happened to chips with salt?
