User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI visited Hugo's last week for the first time with my best friend. The service was better than excellent. The food on the other hand wasn't that great. After reading all of the reviews I had high expectations. I was disappointed. It is a cute romantic place. I do still have the rose they gave me sitting on my dinning room table.

Have always loved Hugo's, and I was not disappointed eating there last week. The food is delicious, my steak was perfectly cooked, the escargot was excellent, and in our foursome, not one complaint about the food. If you have not eaten there, the salad cart and desserts are a treat. My one complaint is that the service is slipping, what once used to be a very professional staff is still good, but not great. Still, very much worth the price and effort.

First time to the restaurant on Feb 15, 2008. After reading all the reviews I thought I would give it a try. Absolutely loved it. We were seated upon arrival. The server promptly greeted us. We ordered within about 10 minutes. Salad cart was full of delicious items. Beef Wellington was to die for. All 4 people at our table loved everything. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Vegas.
