| About: | This is the place to impress your date by making her feel exquisitely pampered. The lady is presented with a rose upon entering this fine eatery at the Four Queens Hotel . Ask for a curtained booth if you wish total privacy. The menu is delightful, providing an outstanding selection of steaks, poultry and seafood dishes. The chicken dishes are excellent, and the steaks are incredibly seasoned with crushed peppercorns. The restaurant offers one of the best wine lists in town with prices ranging from moderate to expensive. |

over-rated and crowded, the atmosphere feels past its prime, much like the hotel is hidden in
We had the Chateaubriand for two (Filet and Lobster) for $135. Must of let the dishwasher try cooking that night. Cold, rubbery, over cooked, and not tasty. People next to us sent their food back(over cooked). We are not whining folks but the $12.95 steak and lobster across the street is better. The staff apologized and said they would make it right. They offered us a piece of cheese cake after we had dessert. Didn't really want to pack cake around Vegas for the night. So they gave us our $170 bill and said sorry for the bad meal. They could have covered the one cocktail and two glasses of wine, but I guess it's cake or nothing when they screw your meal up. Beware - somebody can't cook in the kitchen.
I don't understand all the good reviews for this place. For the same about of money, you can go all the other top notch steak houses on the strip...Craft Steak or Prime, even Delmonico.
When we dined at Hugo's on 9/20/08, everyone in our group of 7 was VERY disappointed.
I ordered the Tournedos - Hugo. It came with fois gras...this was not fois gras. It was a small slice of pate, that happened to be cold and the small amount of vegetables that came with it was cold too. The steak was very average...
We will never go back.
