About:Proving to be a sort of haven for all blues fans, Sand Dollar Blues Nightclub and Lounge , is one of the city's oldest and the best nightclubs. Opened some three decades ago as a restaurant, this place now serves as a live music venueentertaining thousands in its wake. Popular names like Ted Nugent and Chris Tofield Band have performed at this 'no nonsense' nightclub. 'Peace Love & Blues' is what this place believes in. Come down to enjoy a night of good music and extremely affordable drinks, in a place that has been featured on various television shows and definitely is a local favorite.

    Mid-West and East Coast feeling: Great place to listen to the Blues! Never know who's going to walk in and play on stage, every night is something different, great atmosphere, NO RACIAL problems seen there, it's a sanctuary for everyone of all ages 21 and above.

    Have to go there: Great place with great bands. One of the few "biker" type bars that i never saw a fight or any trouble in! Beer is cheap and cold. Music always good and not too loud. Get there to see the first band......the opening act is the later one, not the first.
