About:Japanese Restaurant Owner and Chef, Nobu Matsuhisa, is highly recognized for his groundbreaking modern and authentic Japanese cuisine; the sushi is fresh as is all the seafood and most entree's will introduce a guest's taste buds to delirium. Signature dishes to satisfy any palate include the Lobster Ceviche infused with citrus flavors that give guests the reminiscent feel of the tropics; Shrimp and Main Lobster drizzled with tangy lemon sauce and the Scallops in Spicy Pepper. Other exotic offerings are the Assorted Sashimi flavored with garlic, ginger and sesame seeds, slivers of Red Snapper with chili paste or for the more adventurous type, the Yellowtail with jalapeno. The house specialty is a Three-day Marinated Cod seared and served with sweet miso sauce. Aside from the fine cuisine found at Nobu, the interior design features bamboo pillars, a black river rock wall and a seaweed wall, replications of the decor found in Chef Nobu's New York restaurant, TriBeca.

Noisy, Pricey, Crowded... Who cares? Nubu is an awesome experience. Wonderful and exotic food served in a young atmosphere. By far, the best in town!!!

This was by far the WORST restaurant in all of Las Vegas and probably the world. Way overrated sushi.
The sushi was not "out of this world" ....for the price, I have had way better sushi. What I hated the most about this restaurant was our waiter was SO awful. He was rude, snotty, and very short with us. We had a $300 gift card and he told us we couldn't use it. After our trip, we contacted the manager of Nobu who was just as equally rude to us, even AFTER she told us that the waiter SHOULD have taken the gift card! I guess unless you're a celebrity, you can kiss good service goodbye! WIll NEVER ever return or waste my money there ever again!!

mmmmmmsashimi: i agree with most of the other reviewers about the sound level but luckily we were seated at a table for two next to the bamboo room divider. the level of service from our waiter was impeccable. he was helpful, engaging, and honest about the pros and cons of the menu. we shared a large bottle of nigori sake and edamame – which was seasoned with this light and feathery-textured sea salt. yum. i was disappointed that they did not have spanish mackerel that night but i consoled myself with the sashimi dinner plate. the salmon was simply mouthwatering and the tuna was perfect as was the yellowtail, red snapper, ebi, white fish, mackerel, and squid. david ordered the spicy tuna and tempura shrimp rolls and an order of unagi. for dessert i had the banana “toban yaki” that had sliced bananas and strawberries simmering in calvados.
