This is an inferior restaurant. It is way overpriced. Also, the menu given to us in the restaurant is not at all like the menu posted on the website. The pasta dish I had tasted like overcooked pasta with tomato soup. I should have known there would be problems since there was only one other couple in the restaurant.

Overrated: My fiancé and I wanted to go to one good restaurant during our stay in Las Vegas, and due to Wolfgang Puck’s reputation, we decided to try the Postrio in the Venetian. The positives include: a creative menu, the pleasant atmosphere at the Venetian and the baguette that we were given before our meal. Everything after that was at or below average. When paying around $25 a plate, even in Vegas, I expect to get a good meal. The lobster sandwich that my fiancé ordered was toasted a little dark, and her potato chips were just average. I have paid $5 in Florida for a similar Po-boy . My wiener schnitzel and Austrian potato salad were bland and again average. The service was slow, uninspired and unfriendly. The tables did not have tablecloths, but a square piece of butcher paper placed down after each meal. We each ordered an iced tea, but no desert and our order came to over $80 with the tip for two. Our experience at the Postrio left us very disappointed, and we will not again visit the Wolfgang Puck franchises. If you are in Las Vegas, save your money, and eat at the nearby McDonalds or Chipotle restaurants for similar quality.
