    For the money, the service, the kind of clientele, and the location, this is a very nice place. I've stayed there on business many times, and enjoyed the colorfulness of the staff, the cosmopolitan (yes, foreign tourists) flavor of the free morning buffet. The morning buffet sports anything the biggest cholesterol hound could want, plus fresh fruit, cereals, & coffee, served by friendly staff with a newspaper. They had free WiFi last time I was there. If you want 'palacial' bathroom fixtures, a view of Las Vegas Boulevard as you drift off to sleep, and a 'robo-bar', try Caesars or Bellagio and I hope you enjoy the cost. I have been to the more expensive Vegas Hotels, and even the Strip's nicer rooms have carpet that has been walked over by hundreds of bare, stinky, feet. A room is a room. Mardi Gras keeps the important things clean, and that's value to me. By the way, Yahoo's map has the star in the middle of E Desert Inn and Paradise. That's not the location. This Hotel is on the East side of Paradise closer to Elm.

    This was the WORST Hotel I have stayed in ever. We were told to get a certain room and when we arrived at 10:30P.M. They said "Sorry there's nothing we can do. They also said they didn't offer roll away beds. We weren't impressed at all. Also very dirty.

    being there it was 100 degrees,pool was shot same think for the jacuzzi,third world managment......
