I used to frequent Yama often as it is one of the best, if not the best Sushi restaurant in Las Vegas. The all you can eat is great and affordable. I have taken many visiting Friends, Family and Business peers there and they all left very satisfied and commenting on how good food is. The food is always fresh. I used to travel all over Asia and I would say that Yama is tops in service, kindness, taste and freshness of Sushi and all foods served. My wife has been pregnant so no raw foods. Being the good husband I have not partaken either and waiting until she is able. Breast feeding now so we will have to wait a little longer, but I can't wait to go there and eat again. Their special menu, especially the spicy items, are GREAT!

This is the best value for your money in Las Vegas. While every other sushi restaurant is raising their prices, this restaurant stays true to their loyal following and keep their prices low. I have been to over 10 different all you can eat sushi restaurants and this was by far the cheapest and best dining experience I have ever been to. Their all you can eat is only $22.95 for dinner and $19.95 for their lunch. I am originally from New York City and have had my share of sushi restaurants over there. I mean this place is no Nobu, but if you need a sushi fix and don't want to break the bank, this is the place to eat. I have brought numerous friends and colleagues here and they always had a great experience. I start them off with a wet dream roll which is a california roll with shrimp on top and is baked. It has to be their best roll and everyone who tries it loves it. I would highly recommend their sun of the beach roll, however, I would not get their cut roll as their hand roll is much much better. Their service is quick and efficient. The waitresses are always on top of refilling water and clearing plates. I have been in hospitality for the majority of my career and in the restaurant business it is important to keep up with water refilling and clearing "dead plates" aka empty plates. The manager Jun always takes care of me and my friends since I bring him a lot of business. He sometimes serves me and my friends yellowtail belly sashimi, which is not on the menu. Yes this restaurant is run and owned by Koreans, even though it is a Japanese restaurant. I understand why this will upset some people, however, they do a damn good job in keeping customer loyalty and return guests. I will forever be loyal to Yama Sushi and their friendly and accomodating staff. This was the first place that I have ever eaten sushi in Las Vegas and will continue to be extremely loyal. I do suggest trying to get there a bit early on Fridays as sometimes I do see a line out the door. Kudos to them and their wonderful service and taking care of their loyal customers. I will recommend to everyone that comes to Las Vegas.

I am from new york , so i check the review for chooseing the restaurant , but i think that is totally wrong . first this is korean open japenes reataurant , i like korean , but i want go the place is open by japenes, sorry about that, and when the dishes come , it cames all of roll first , and tell us we catn left rice on the dish, or will charge 5 dollar for each one person , but if u serves the sushi first , it wont happen that way~ and side dishes is not so good , but i think price is good for the one love roll at all~ and u will feel worth , or u feel so bad , coz u ate a lot of rice!!!

I am sorry, If I could understand a word you are trying to say maybe I would listen to your review. All you can eat sushi restaurants require you to eat the rice with the sushi, otherwise you could order sashimi and it would be bad for business. If you want more fish order hand rolls.
