I must say I disagree with the review by dixchicken14.I was recommended by my friends to take dance lessons at Step by Step.I am glad I did. The dance studio is beautiful. The instructors are friendly and patient. I am happy I am taking lessons.I always wanted to learn how to dance and now I can dance!
Floor needed replacing a couple years ago.: The upkeep of the floor is terrible or rather not done at all. The floor is cracked, unlevel and be careful not to trip & fall on this unkept floor! The owners are too cheap to repair and actually have held fund raisers to get money to re-do the floor. This is pathetic! Previous instructors were pretty good, but some of the new ones are snobs! Still a bit pricey but not as expensive as Arthur Murray and you do learn. They do tend to rush you as they book clients back to back, minute to minute. Also, if you are not young and hot, they don't pay much attention to you.
Step By Step is the Best In Vegas!: Step by Step is the only no-pressure ballroom studio. They want you to have fun and learn a life skill. Everybody is wonderful there, the studiop is warm and homey, and I cannot think of a better way to spend my time! I LOVE Step By Step!!!!!!!!!

This is not a fair review dixiechicken14 because it is way out of date. Step By Step has a brand new padded competition size dance oakwood floor that is the best there is. The new owners are not cheap and no teacher is a snob. I am over 70 and get just as much attention as the young ones. Previous instructors were "pretty good" is a joke. How about United States Pro/Am Champions, United States Amateur Champion and a United States Top Teacher Winner, all currently at Step By Step Pretty good? The review by coadonia is far more accurate.
