Beer Selection For Years!: The Freakin Frog, or simply "The Frog" is a small bar located right across the street from UNLV. They hold the bragging rights to the largest selection of beers in Nevada, and looking over the beer menu simply boggles the mind. Despite the bar menu being rather small, the food is fantastic, and cooked right behind the bar for you. The Lucifer Burger and Prosciutto Bomb both rock this world! (beware, both pack quite a punch.) Live entertainment can usually be found on the weekends, and a Projector shoots out TV, Sports and movies high onto the wall at the end of the bar. When nothing else is going on, you'll sometimes find someone behind the piano knocking out some tunes, and another time I saw someone grab the guitar from the wall and play like no tomorrow. Great stuff! Being so close to UNLV doesn't always mean the crowd is always the College crowd... it's usually pretty varied. Great place to hang out with your friends in a friendly laid back atmosphere.
