| About: | Since our opening in December of 1998, this high-end, freestanding steakhouse has made its mark in Las Vegas with locals and tourists alike. Our three-story 635+ seat New York-style steakhouse, in the signature green and white building, has fast become one of the most popular places to gather for lunch, dinner, and all types of social events. You no longer have to go to a hotel to find excellent steaks and seafood, as well as the kind of premier service that has made Smith & Wollensky famous. Another bonus feature is our "Sidewalk Cafe" right on the strip in front of Wollensky's Grill, which starts serving lunch at 11:30am and stays open till 12:00AM on Sun-Thur and 1:00AM on Fri-Sat to accommodate late night casual dining seven days a week. Me and my girlfriend went to Smith & Wollensky's thinking it was an upscale nice steakhouse. Upon arriving they stuck us in the corner with my back up to the wine fridge (It was freezing), our waiter was busy "handeling" the table of 15 guests. We had to get our problems fixed with another waiter and ended up tipping him instead of our original waiter. Food was so so (I like Outback better) dinner came out to $180.00 definately overpriced for the service and food we got.

Excellent! The macaroni and cheese is the best thing I have ever eaten and my waiter and waitress were kind and funny. I can't wait to go back. I had gone several months ago and I'm still talking about it.
