Good food, with breakfast being their specialty. Although the service is sometimes a tad poor, the food is always good with a cozy ambience and warm feel to the place. New location, now on 1725 Nellis Blvd is so much nicer and brighter than the original Lamb location. Say "Hello!" to Ed or Kathy when visiting.
The new location is worth the few extra minutes of drive time. The staff has always been friendly and taken care of us. All of the specials are excellent. I highly recommend the huge ham steak, meatloaf, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and the burgers are excellent as well. I've never had a bad meal here. Take it from an old crusty military guy, the Country Cafe will take care of you, and you might need a nap after the meal.
The food is great, but the service was terrible the two times i went there, example drink with no straws, ask for a condiment, never brought it back had to ask again. Ordered to pick up and was not prepared like I said over the phone even though I was assured it would be. (wanted gravy on my meatloaf). Not a big deal but it was the attitude of not caring that it was wrong when i called back to tell them about it. It seems like because familty members work there a sort of not caring attitude exist. I will still go there because like i said the food is great, but please tell the employees to work on there service skills.

I am very sorry about the wait staff. I am an owner and it should have not been handled that way. If you you could let me know the next time you are in I would like to talk with you. I would also like to by your lunch. Very sorry Edward
