User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsShe's not really spoiled. I live here and I know how much effort people put into making trips perfect. Anyhow, NY NY has nice casino environment. I won some money there and I hate gambling so that would be a plus. They have little stars on the ceiling, some cool vendors, yay margaritas! Also rides don't hurt :))
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI'll not stay at New York, New York Hotel again. In February of '08, I arranged a 4-day week-end for a "sisters reunion". I had stayed at the NYNY about 3 times in the past. I made the reservations at least FIVE MONTHS in advance, and the only request I made was to have a room that overlooked the strip, so that my 3 sisters could see the view from our window at night. Doesn't seem like too much to ask. My sisters had never been to LV. We instead got a room overlooking parking lots and tops of buildings. I inquired about it at the desk and was flatly told "that's all we have". I later sent an email regarding my disappointment, and never heard back. Fun hotel but complete lack of hospitality. Our trip this February will be at Mandalay Bay Hotel. Too bad NYNY lost a longtime customer.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt is a great place to be on the strip, the roller coaster is awesome and will get your blood flowing at fast rates of speed and gambling there is nice to , I always walk away with a little extra then what I came with, The pub Nine Irishman is awesome alot of drinks to choose from, you can get tore up at the pub and a hostess will help you to your room. It was a great time and I would definitely stay here again.
