User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHave been in and out of here since 2003 and this place is awesome. Old and seldom seen vintage guitars and amps seem to find a temporary home there. Hopeful a 347 Gibson pretty soon. In fact going there today to look again even if it is a 90 mi. drive.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been in and out of this store for nearly 4 years now on a weekly basis. My two sons take guitar lessons there at the store from Dave Chase who is an AWESOME guitar teacher and we have purchased 2 guitars, multiple pedals, strings, etc. from Cowtown with NO complaints or problems with equipment. The staff (Jesse, Jack, & Brandon) is wonderful and Marc Chatfield is a really nice guy! Rod Miller does an excellent job with guitar repairs at a fair cost. My son recently purchased a rare guitar at a pawn shop that needed ALOT of work done and Rod restored it back and it sounds wonderful. That Ibanez Universe is now my sons pride and joy and has become his favorite guitar in his collection thanks to Rod. My son swears by him and will not go anywhere else to have any of his guitars fixed whenever needed. It's a really great vintage guitar store with a great repair shop and a great place to take guitar lessons from a top notch guitar teacher. I highly recommend it!

GREAT PLACE FOR GUITAR PLAYERS: I have purchased many items from Cowtown Guitars starting when he opened shop accross the street from U.N.L.V. I have always been treated with respect, and have always got a good deal. Mark is honest about his products as are his employees. And as long as he has been opened, i have NEVER needed an appointment.
