These people are total professionals. I took my 2003 Mini Cooper to them after my brake wear indicator came on. Mark was very helpful over the phone, and even more so in person. He gave me his recommendations for pad replacement (a better pad that cost less than OEM). He also explained why ceramic pads (which another shop with a slightly lower price had suggested) were a bad idea for my vehicle.
When I arrived at the shop to pick my car up Mark showed me all the parts and put the caliper on the rotors to show me how much surface I had left for machining (and why he could not machine the front rotors). I don't recall ever having a repair shop take this much time to explain things to me and show me what was done and why. These people are complete professionals. I will never take my brake business anywhere else.
Extremely Friendly: Wow! Mark is extremely friendly and accomodating. He is very thorough in making every attempt at ensuring that you will leave a satistified customer. Or non-customer! For I am confident he will not attempt to sell you something you do not need. If they were only a full-service auto shop!
THE most honest brake shop in Las Vegas!: Stopped in at the recommendation of a friend who has been a commercial and personal customer for 15 years. Stood in line while they told a single lady that she didn't need a $575 brake job like another brake shop had just advised her, she only needed a very minor adjustment that they were happy to do for free. Mr. Brake told me I had probably another 4,000 to 5,000 miles to go on my brakes before they would need attention. I drive about 2,000 miles per month so I opted to get it done right then. They turned my rotors and installed new premium brake pads, saving me over $300 vs. the recommendation of a national chain with several franchisees in town. "Brand X" had tried to scare me 2 days prior saying it was totally unsafe to even leave their parking lot without getting new rotors and pads RIGHT THEN! All they did was scare me off with their high pressure techniques. I'm very pleased with Mr. Brake's staff, the quality of their work and very reasonable cost of my brake job. I highly recommend them. Signed, Phillip R.
