| About: | Serving more than handcrafted beer, this microbrewery also features Victorian stained glass doors, wood beams and a large stone fireplace. The lighting here is provided by sculptural wall sconces. The menu includes imaginative dishes like Shrimp and Artichoke Pizza, Grilled Lamb Sirloin, and a Pepper and Eggplant Sandwich. Smoked baby back ribs and an assortment of fresh fish including halibut, ahi and salmon round out the menu. The meals complement the rich ales brewed on the premises, like Red Roadster Ale, Midtown Brown or Peavine Porter. The wait staff will be happy to tell you how they came up with the names and how they're made. Banquet facilities for up to 50 people and a late-night menu for the theater crowd are also available. |

I just wanted to let everyone know that the full moon happens on multiple days according to Silver Peak Brewery. Many moons ago we were told that growlers were filled for 1/2 price on the day of a full moon, according to what the Reno Gazzette Journal posts as the full moon date. A server was our source. Yesterday a group and I were discussing how excited we were for tomorrow, May 20, to fill all our growlers of great Silver Peak beer (I like the xxx). After placing a call to confirm this knowledge of the full moon being on May 20, as posted on RGJ.com we were devistaded, heartbroken, shock in awe to find that the full moon was celebrated on the 19th of May.
If we could only find out what day the full moon is really on, according to the Silver Peak, we would love to get some half price growlers.
Please Silver Peak, tell us, what day is the full moon on?

The store on Holcomb is a local busy place, especially in summer. I love their Ahi sandwich. Their own brews are very good. I like their IPA.
They need to invest in new TVs. If you're going to have them, have good ones!
Great food. Home made soups the best, and the ahi salad with little potatoes and artichoke hearts rocks. And the beer is excellent. Nice place for lunch with friends.

in regards to the "multiple full moon dates", I can tell you that Silver Peak goes by the date printed in the RGJ. In the past, the RGJ website and the actual paper have contradicted each other. Again, Silver Peak goes by the printed date, not the website. I know this for a fact, as I am a manager there. I hope this helps.
