Ruby River Steakhouse

We have been going to Ruby River for many years. Unfortunatly this particular time we were able to bring home more scraps for our dogs. For a 16 oz Prime Rib we actually had about 5oz of meat the rest was fat. I am sure our dogs enjoyed this tasty treat however, we didn't enjoy the price tag. After bringing this to the managers attention he said I would love to offer you another prime rib but we are all out. Then the waitress came to the table and stated Yeah I saw that when I brought it to your table sorry about that. Well in saying this we will never return to Ruby River again. Their quality in meat has decreased and their prices haven't. This was not worth the money nor the drive. Could have a better cut of meat from a 9.99 buffet at a casino.

As cattle ranchers, we expect good beef and that is exactly what they serve at Ruby River. Cooked to order and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Staff is warm and friendly. I would highly reccommend this establishment to all.

Me my husband and our 13year old son had stayed at the Peppermill on Friday May 16th thru Saturday May 17th 2008. After we got setteled into our room, we were starved. My husband was craving steak so we went down stairs to a steak house in the building. As soon as we got to the door, we were treated like dirt. I looked at my husband and said "lets go!" We went across the street to Ruby Rivers and as soon as we entered the steak house, we were treated exceptional - - from the hosts to the waitstaff. This restraunt ROCKS!! The food here is the best I have ever had. My son ordered the steak - - cooked to perfection and seasoned to a "T" I took a bite and melted in my seat. My husband had the Prime Rib OMG can Prime Rib get anymore delicate? I had the Ceasar Salad Lalaloved it. The sweet Potatoe on both the Steak and Prime Rib is to die for - - who comes up with the recipes for this Steak House -- You're a genious. We all had the Rsapberry Lemonaid Perfect drink on a hot day/night. I have been to many plces in my day. Ruby River is by far the best. Can I give a rating higher than "5" I think you deserve a "10" Who ever trained the staff did a great job. We have already told friends and family about this place and hope it stays around a long time - - I can't say enough. Thanks for making what could have been a bad night perfect.
