    My Family and I stopped into Reds Candies. Had excellent sandwiches at a great price. The atmosphere was wonderful and the crew was great. The kids had ice cream on the way out. The wife and I split a caramel apple, which we loved. Great place to stop in Virginia City.

    My husband and our son went to Red's Candies in Virginia City, drawn by the view of all the candy from the window. We had a sandwich, it was great and then got what I thought was our favorite candy. We saved it for the ride home and oh boy were we surprised..... Patrick's Caramel nut coated apple was really peanut butter coated with nuts, EEW ! Me being the smart one so I thought, got the red candy coated BASIC CANDY APPLE..... HA, mine was cinnamon candy coated.. I was furious. Our son, well he is a teenager and will eat anything, but his was actually what he wanted chocolate caramel coated. my advise SAMPLE before you buy.... lol

    I love the truffels and their sandwichs are very good and really cheap.. My girls go to school in Virginia City so everytime I am up there we stop at Red's and have a snadwhich... Swear it's better than subway!
