In theory only those who are guilty get arrested, right? Not in my case – I was involved in a misunderstanding and arrested. After the arrest and subsequent efforts on my own to get the matter resolved I came to the realization that once you are in the legal system you have no choice but to work within it’s constraints and the only way to protect your rights is to hire an attorney to defend you. I was referred to William Cole and after my 1st meeting with Mr Cole was comfortable with him handling my case. The end result was that the DA chose not to move forward with the case and all records were sealed. For me this was a very unfortunate situation but it worked out as well as it possibly could have. I have no doubt that if I had gone with a different attorney that I would have had a significantly different and much less positive outcome. If you are in the unfortunate situation of needing a criminal defense attorney I would highly recommend William Cole. Not only is he an excellent attorney but he also a good person. I never felt like I was just another case to him and there’s something to be said for that in this day and age. I have no doubt that his genuine concern made the difference in my legal situation and was very important to me personally helping me to get through this very unsettling experience.

We were charged with 2 misdemeanor criminal cases involving our dog and some livestock that we were not guilty of. Without any legal experience of our own, we felt hiring a good lawyer was very important. William Cole got us through all the legal steps with ease - from contacting the appropriate parties, working with the District Attorney, setting court dates, presenting evidence and making the process as painfree as he could for us. We never had to ask twice for anything. And today was a great day, with both charges DISMISSED. I would highly recommend William Cole to my friends and would not hesitate to use him again.

Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you!

Thank you for all your hard work, and getting me out of trouble!

There is no one better to call if you've managed to find your self in trouble with the law. Mr. Cole recently represented me in a Dui case here in Tahoe. I was seriously happy with our results. Mr. Cole is highly respected in the courtroom by all the district attorneys and judges, and he's as professional and tactical as they come. Hopefully I won't need his services again, but if I do, I know I'm in the best hands possible.

I highly recommend his services over and over again!
