This is not a high class place, if that's your taste. But if you like a relaxed environment, and a casino that pays well when you play blackjack, this is the place. I prefer the Royal Match blackjack. Cal Neva stands out because they pay 5-1 when you hit a suit matched blackjack. Other places only pay 2 1/2-1. Most all of the dealers are friendly, on any shift of the day. Whenever I'm in Reno, this is the casino I usually spend my time at. We've stayed at their hotel in the past. It's a great price if you're looking for a place to rest your head, and that's all. But, all rooms look the same with your eyes closed, no matter what the price.
