Just like most of the reviews for this place, I too had a horrible experience. Actually I don't know if it would be much of an experience because I was there for a half hour or maybe a little longer, looking at gear and was never approached. Today I tried to call to see if they had a part and couldn't get ahold of anyone, I just got an answering machine which I left my name, number and reason for calling. Never received a call back so I called Reno Cycles & Gear which answered, had my part and also provided knowledgeable instrution on how to fill my battery and get it into my bike as efficiently as possible. So go to Reno Cycles and Gear. A guy named Paul helped me and everyone was so courteous.
The very worst. I purchased what was suppose to be a factory new Suzuki DR650SE. I had all kinds of problems with it and it wasn't until I moved From Reno to Tucson, AZ that I found out why. The MVD would not let me register it in Arizona, because they said that the VIN number was not factory machine stamped on the frame. Turns out the motorcycle arrived at the dealership wrecked with a bent frame and swingarm and Michael's never disclosed this to me. After many lies from them, and after going to the better business bureau and looking at getting a lawyer, they finally fessed up that they replaced the frame, etc. They finally decided it would better in their interest to buy the bike back from me. They never even appologized for all the hell they put me through. I would never trust anything from this business.
Michael's is the worst business to deal with in town. They have no sense of customer satisfaction or loyalty. It was great when Tim ran things, but the customer is irrelevant at this establishment. I would travel to Sacramento just to avoid the unpleasantness.
