About:This predominantly Italian eatery is located in a quiet section of southwest Reno. The twinkling city lights can be viewed whether you dine inside or on the patio. The ambiance is one of subdued elegance; you don't have to dress up, but you won't feel overdressed in a black tie. Large windows give all a view of the city lights while enjoying the meal. The menu provides a selection of fresh seafood, steak and pasta dishes. For vegetarians, some great taste treats await including a scrumptious Vegetarian Spinach Casserole and the unique Mashed Potato Pizza. The wine menu is substantial.

    Two thumbs up!: From Butch, the owner to G.M. Javier, waiter Gil and everybody else is wonderful in this locals hotspot! Been coming here since I was 16, loved the eggplant parmesan and calamari steaks then, I still love them today! And don't forget to order the house salad with cheese and walnuts! Hmmm hmmmm Goooodddd! :-) Thanks for the latest kitchen tour! Hope your chef gets well soon! See you very soon!!!

    The View Says It All: If you could eat a view, this would be the best place in town.
    As it is, the Italian food could not be more pedestrian. If you put checked red and white cloth on the tables with a Chianti bottle and a candle, the decor would perfectly match the food. Why oh why can't someone in the Truckee Meadows serve Italian food of any quality?

    Food and View are Incredible!: The pasta was prepared perfectly. The veal melted in your mouth. The calamri and the clam/ mussels appetizers are by far the best in town. The chocolate tort was rich, not to sweet and hit the spot. The wine selection is intelligent and they have the most generous pours in Reno. Sitting outside in the open yet enclosed dining room watching a spectacular thunderstorm, it just doesn't get any better anywhere than this! I felt and it tasted like I was in Italy. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
