   Our family visited this store while in Elko last week. I felt like I was let loose in a candy store for cooks! The staff was friendly, and the store was filled with a generous assortment of kitchen gadgets, pots and pans, dishes, untensils, baking items, KitchenAid mixers and loads of toys like salt and pepper grinders with large containers of both products for refilling. I found a beautiful set of large pasta bowls and the matching server bowl, hand painted with Italian olives and their names in each bowl. They had full aprons, mitts, etc. The best find was a steak rub. We bought and used it that night and were really taken back by the full flavor it gave the meat.
   
   Did I mention the wine selection? We bought two different labels of chianti. Both were equally delicious and light.
   
   If you find yourself in Elko, Nevada, you must go to Cucina's. It is a gem in the small mining town in northeast Nevada.
