No Motivation on behalf of the teachers ! I hope this year is better but i doubt it already. Every staff member walks around like they don't care!

First of all I would like to say how many people have given this new school its praises only through their experiences; however my experience with the staff/teachers/deans and the principal of this school was TERRIBLE~ mind you it happened on alot of different occasions, I've had parents also tell me when an incident happened with their child the staff/dean DID NOT RETURN their call and they kept calling the school getting sent to voicemails etc. My child got injured during one of his classes and was told by the teacher "OHHH YOU'LL BE FINE GO BACK TO CLASS"; I was not informed by the school staff or anyone I was informed by someone else no relations to the school, after further investigation of the situation the teacher was found to be at fault as was told to me for her negligence, was she reprimanded? I dont know & no apology was given to my child either. My child continues gets good grades dispite what was done to him; another incident happened when my child did not attend an event at the school for reason I'm not willing to say except he was not able to make it and his teacher gave him an D, stating to my child he needed a note from my pastor. Does that make sense? It sure didnt to me. So because my child did not attend an event for undisclosed reasons its going to cause him to receive a D, (I dont think so) on top of all that he needs a note from our pastor! (FOR WHAT REASON?) Will that teacher be willing to change the grade for my child? Probably not.......
There are schools in this city/community that truly care about their students and should be PRAISED BUT NORTH VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL DOES NOT DESERVED ANY PRAISES AT THIS TIME THEY TRULY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR PERCEPTION OF WHAT CARING AND WANTING TO SEE STUDENTS EXCELL IS ALL ABOUT!

North Valleys is a good school. Every teacher I have met has been very professional and enjoys doing their job. The new Band teacher is wonderful, as well as the new Freshmen foot ball coach.
