User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI came all the way from Maui, HI to have Dr. Baggett at North Hills Veterinary, perform a knee replacement on my Therapy dog Kupono. Everyone at North Hills Vet were so attentive to Kupono's needs and mine. We had scheduled the surgery, but a huge storm was iminent, so I consulted with Dr. Baggett and we decided together to postpone until the following week. After Kupono's surgery, I was allowed to get into the recovery pen with him and cuddle with him. The entire staff are such caring and compassionate people, so much so that I recommended this veterinary clinic to my parents and my sister. Thank you so much Dr. Baggett!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWorst Vet I have ever had to deal with! Dr Baggett was horrible, mean and rude! I called because I could not get to my reg vet, Klaich. I was told by the staff at North Hills I could come in as long as I was there by 5:40pm, I was there at 5:30pm. We were put in a room at 5:50pm. As we were waiting in the room. Dr Baggett came to the front desk and wanted to know why I was there and who let me come in, and was complaining he had to see us, in front of my husband and children that were in the lobby. He came in to the room at 5:55pm and made clear he was not happy he had to see us. He offered no help or suggestions. He wanted to do a Parvo test, my dog did not have Parvo. He also wanted me to leave the dog over night, in a clinic where nobody was present during the night? I was not comfortable leaving my dog where nobody would be monitoring her. I wanted to be able to take her to the emergency vet if need be. Dr Bagget was rude and condescending! What a horrible man! He told his staff to charge me an extra $20 because I would not leave my dog there unattended. A vet who's main concern is himself should find a different line of work. It was an absolutely hideous experience, I would not reccomend this place to my worst enemy!

I wanted to pay 1/2 of my pets surgery and work out the rest in payments. I got a flat "NO, we don't do that" from the woman on the phone. She wouldn't even let me talk to one of the doctors. How can anyone be so hard-hearted during an economic recession? I had money to pay - just not all of it at once. I've had my salary and hours cut - I just wanted someone to work with me on this. Other than that the doctors are knowledable and very nice.

Also, I would like to address the other comment about leaving a dog unattended. Kupono was not left unattended, each of the vets take turns on night duty. No dog is ever left completely unattended all night long. That would be absurd! Kupono had the very best care that I could have ever asked for. Again, thank you so much Dr. Baggett, Dr. Altom and Dr. Gonzales, plus the amazing staff.
