I happened to stumble across this restraunt with my 4 year old tonight and I was so pleased. I am very particular about my food and I have a severe allergy to coconut. The restraunt was very clean...I was greeted by a sincerely nice and gracious waiter...and the food was nicely plated and tasted great. We had some spring rolls and shrimp for an appetizer with shrimp pad thai noodles for our main course. All my picky requests were happily received and I am still breathing so I know that they truly omitted the coconut milk. They had nice little cups for my daughter that fit perfect in her little hands. Then when I received the check it was literally $19 cheaper than the other Thai restraunt I usually visit. My family will be coming here from now on. I highly recommend the food and the great customer service!!!

My husband and I love this restaurant. He has recently eaten here once before, but this is the first time for me. I ordered the Pineapple Salmon Sizzling, and he ordered the Green Chicken Curry. Both items were delicious. You can order your food as mild or hot as you like. The restaurant is very clean and cozy and the dinner service is excellent. I've never eaten here for lunch, but I hear it is very crowded, which shows what a great restaurant it is. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other items on their menu soon!

Thai Lotus is an excellent little place that has worked hard to create a cozy ambiance. The food has always been good, but before the current owners it felt like a cafeteria. Now it is elegant and warm, with classy Thai art.

The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful, and are quick to make the experience exactly how you want it. They are very accommodating: substitutions are no problem. Being a vegetarian, that is important, and some servers at other places can get an attitude if you ask for tofu instead of shrimp. But not here! Of course the food is fabulous, some of the best I have ever had. The lunch specials are very reasonably priced, but it is true that they are getting very crowded at lunch time (which is a good thing for them). So if you want a more romantic meal I'd go for dinner.

All-in-all, this is not only my favorite Thai place, but also my favorite restaurant in Reno. Excellent for Thai-food-lovers, vegetarians, couples, and, well, everyone.
