User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI am a student of the LVN program and am so frustrated by this school already! The school is only worried about their own reputation and the ability to recruit more students, not education! If you learn from your mistakes you WILL NOT learn here. After taking a test you will not be able to see your test questions again for fear of future students cheating and in turn a lower percentage of first time pass rate on the state licensing board (this % is used for advertisement).
My recommendation: take your $31,500 elsewhere. I wish I could!!!-

DR Allan Pouravanes AND THIS SCHOOL IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.I WORK HERE AND I SHOULD KNOW . IM TIRED OF SEEING HOW THE STUDENTS ARE BEING TREATED, ESPECIALLY THE VOCATIONAL NURSING STUDENTS. AND THE NEW DIRECTOR THAT THEY HAVE ,DR Allan Pouravanes , IS REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE , ILL MANNERED, MONEY ORIENTED, AND EVIL . HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE STUDENTS, HE ONLY CARES ABOUT THE MONEY. THE PROGRAM FOR VOCATIONAL NURSING IS $30,000.00 AND ITS SAD THAT THEY EXTORT THIS MONEY FROM POOR STUDENTS. THERE IS NO CAFETERIA. YOU HAVE TO BUY FOOD FROM UNLICENSED FOOD DISTRIBUTORS THAT LINGER OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL. IT IS IN A VERY BAD AND DANGEROUS AREA. JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURE ON THE TOP OF THIS PAGE. ITS THREE FEET AWAY FROM THE FREEWAY. ITS PRACTICALLY ON THE SHOULDER OF THE 101 FREEWAY. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING. AND IF YOU PARK IN THE STREET, YOUR CAR MAY BE BROKEN INTO. MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO TWICE. IF YOURE A STUDENT , YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR XEROX COPIES, EVEN IF YOU ALREADY PAID THE 30 GRAND. AND BACK TO THE DIRECTOR THAT THEY HAVE, HIS NAME IS DR Allan Pouravanes. HE IS FROM IRAQ AND HAS A VERY THICK ACCENT. HE RELISHES THE MOMENT WHEN STUDENTS CRY IN HIS SMALL OFFICE. YOU CANT UNDERSTAND WHAT HE SAYS SOMETIMES, AND IF YOU ASK HIM TO REPEAT HIMSELF, HE GETS UPSET AND MAKES YOU FEEL STUPID . HIS OFFICE IS VERY SMALL, AND IT SMELLS LIKE BURNT POPCORN. HE HAS A MOE ON HIS LEFT CHEEK AND IT LOOKS CANCEROUS. DONT LET HIS PUPPY DOG EYES FOOL YOU , HE IS HITLER IN DISGUISE. THE DIRECTOR BEFORE HIM ,MS OWENS, WAS WONDERFUL. I DONT KNOW WHY THEY GAVE THIS MONSTER THE POSITION. IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT FEELS THIS WAY ABOUT THIS SCHOOL AND DR ALLAN. YOU COULD ASK THE STUDENTS THEMSELVES.

This school is a JOKE.
My class had to sign a petition to get a teacher removed for failing to teach.
She taught us things that if we actually did them in a pharmacy setting we could easily lose our job.
She taught us the math we need for pharmacy calculations wrong; and when asked about the correct way told us to ask a fellow student to explain it.
The directors seemed to care at first, they said they had heard the same thing from other people and would work it out. Nothing happened for a month.
When they finally moved us to a new teacher, We were so behind.
Now, they are giving us her as a teacher again as the new teacher left to teach at a better school. They explained that since only 1/5 (10 out of 50) of her class ever came in to the directors office to complain, she wasn't a bad teacher, even though 20 people signed a petition on top of the 10 who went in person.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! You might get stuck with Ms. Beauman and never learn what you need to know in the field!

The review by the disgruntled employee pretty much sums everything up in a nutshell. This school is horrible. Dont fall for those commercials that they have on t.v. during the Maury Povich show. Avoid this school. Go to Concorde IN Hollywood , rather than this crappy excuse of a school.
