Thumbs up on the great steaks! It's been a while since I've been to the Koreatown location as there is another Taylor's in La Canada on Foothill Blvd.
Both places are a great place for ambience and the big booths and as another poster described; a throw back in time! This is certainly true!
As there are no windows in the joint, you would never know that it's 2007. You can actually fantasize that you are waiting to dine with one of the Rat Pack!
Awesome throwback of a steak house. Not only is the food delicious, right down to the bread, but the charm and ambiance are contagious. All I can say is...cherry red leather, circular seat - MONEY, baby!! The decor had be dreaming of Goodfellas. Also, the wait staff transported me too - they are cool waitresses who call you "honey".
What a gem - and who would believe it to be situated in Koreatown! But there are no windows in this joint, so you step inside and are whisked away to another time and place...awesome!
love this place, truly is "the steak that time forgot" everything is very oldfashioned, even the staff, my type of place, good drinks, great steaks, just gotta choose right, not the best for prime rib, but they have an incredible boneless ribeye and new york pepper steak
