This place is great! The prices are decent and the service is great. Be nice to the older lady that works there and she will be very happy to see you come back!

I enjoy the Pad Thai (sorry for you Thai food aficionados) and all the curries are good... ask they to make anything extra spicy. Glass noodle salad and some of the more Chinese dishes are great too! Thai Iced Tea is nice and not overpowering with flavor. It is one of the best around.

I myself am always looking for heart healthy dishes and though most Thai food is not great in that respect, the food here is far less oily/fatty versus other places I have tried.

Coming back after 2 weeks: As the previous reviewer stated, don't take your date to Talay Thai. I ate here with a large group of friends, around 15. We called in advance because the square tables there only accommodates groups of 4 or less. Get the thai tea to get started, it's like 1.25 and it's refillable, not that you'd want a second after seeing the size of your cup. We split up the table in groups and did family style meals, but make sure you tell them you want family so they can give you your rice in a separate bowl.

I tried a lot of different dishes, bear with the spelling: duck curry, orange chicken, pad see eww, rad nar, mixed bbq, garlic beef. I was slightly displeased with the orange chicken, as if the batter was undercooked. Otherwise, I had a great time here. Remember that there's a bunch of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes, too, just in case you're scared of the spiciness.

Not Bad for a Quickie: I really like this place and I am not exactly sure why...
The food is pretty good, the decor is out of 1970's Thailand and its not a place where you would go on first date. However, its charming, the folks who work there are incredibly pleasant and I feel like Im eating in my mom's kitchen.
Yes, I really do like this place. Go there for a quick bite to eat or carry out.
