| About: | India's Oven a favorite among locals, continues to keep patrons happy with excellent food at very fair prices. It's not the most elegant choice in town, but does Wolfgang Puck offer a sizzling Chicken Tikka like this place does? The menu is not especially adventurous, but when you want your chicken, lamb or beef tender and covered in a great curry sauce, this is the place to enjoy it. Try the Tandoori Chickenthe spicy, red-tinged meat literally falls off the bone. Paneer Tikka, Malai Kofta and Navaratan Korma are some of the delicacies veggies might want to try. Ask the chef to to go easy on the spices if you can't handle red hot Indian food. There's a decent wine list and, oh yes, also on the menu are those wonderful Indian beers. |

I was at first drawn to this place by the smell floating out onto the street but was ultimately disappointed with my visit. I ordered the lamb kabob as opposed to the buffet, which is what most people get I think. The kabob was just OK. For $17 I want more than OIK. I don't eat Indian alot and wanted to try something new. The space is boring, the staff and food are unremarkable and it's too expensive. Skip it.
execellent food, friendly staff, good atmosphere and easy on the wallet. curries are worth visitng over and over. i recommend this restaurant to lovers of indian food.
The staff is rude..
Me and my friend went there and ordered
1. one Matar paneer
2. one Fried Rice
3. one Parantha
4. one Naan
Waiter said "you have to order one more item".. I asked why ?. He said because you have ordered only one Matar Panner and you are two persons, so one more has to be ordered. We dont allow one dish to be shared by two people.
So, its a place where waiters decide what u can share and what not. I didnt wanna arhue , so I ordered one more dish.
After which, some other waiter served us food. He served us Roti instead of parantha. I asked him about it. And he said, "Sir , you ordered Roti.". I said "ok, call the waiter who took order." .. THe waiter who took my order came and said "yes sir, u ordered Prantha and this is parantha". I said, " I can see this is Roti, and the other waiter also said it is roti.". He said " Sir, the other waiter got confused. THis is Parantha," and he left.
I would never recommend this stupid place to anyone.
