I MUST ADMIT MY PALET WAS RATHER PLEASED WITH THE BURSTING FLAVORS THAT CAME THROUGH. H&B HAS PROVEN TO PROVIDE AN EXCLENT ATOMSPHEAR THAT IS BOTH INTIMATE AND ROMANTIC. HOW EVER THE STAFF COULD USE A REFRESHER COURSE OR RECURRENT TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY DON'T APPEAR TO BE HAPPY AND THAT IS REFLECTIVE BY THEIR ATTITUDES AND THE LACK OF QUALITY SERVICE WE AS PAYING CUSTOMER SEEM TO FALL VICTUM TO. H&B RAISE THERE PRICES YEARLY PREHAPS THEY SHOULD BRAKE THEIR STAFF A SMALL PIECE OF THE PIE.
For many years Harold & Bells has produced wonderful tasting food, but until recently, the level of service does not reflect the same quality. My last two visits has afforded me rude service from wait staff and condescending behavior from the owner, Denise. These unpleasant behaviors far deminshes any enjoyable experience I had in the past at H&B's. As such, I no longer count it as one of my favorite restuarants.
The best Creole food in L.A.. Family owned since 1969.
The Etouffee is better than any you will get in New Orleans.

I don't know what your problem was but I have never had a bad experience at Harold and Belle's. Maybe it was your attitude that triggered the problem I have witnessed people with bad attitudes turn a situation into a nightnightmare. Maybe you should check yourself.
I completely agree with Kay C, I have been a patron of Harold & Belle's since the 80's and the quality of the food, the service and the overall experience is no longer worth it to me. I will no return to Harold & Belle's.
