    I've have ate at Lamonica's many times and I have never regret it. It almost as good as N.Y. pizza.

    It's not possible to get good, let alone great, pizza in LA. Period. This place is no exception. I heard a lot of hoopla about this place so I went. It tasted like Dominoes. That's not knocking LA. If you want great sushi or a great cheeseburger this is your place. But pizza, forget about it. Everyone uses gas ovens. There's no substitute for real coal ovens like in NY. Pizza is a friggin' artform there.

    How this place received top honors is beyond me. I have lived in Los Angeles for most of my life and have frequented this place several times to give them a chance to prove themselves, they never did.

    The pizza is ok, not bad at times but nothing special and the service is lousy.

    There are holes in the wall take out only Pizza Joints that blow this place out of the water in Los Angeles.
