I hosted my 24TH BDAY PARTY and it was an amazing night...the restaurant is gorgeous, the setting is intimate and romantic. My guests were very pleased with the service and the vibes it gave off. I def reccomend coming here. Everyone loved and I got great reviews of what a good place it it.
Service has taken a HUGE nose-dive. And, after some constructive critisism, I was removed (after 5 years)from my free B'day gift certificate.
What's the matter Manny and Michael...can't take a negative write-up??????
There isn't a better way to start a night of drinking than walking into a bar with the DJ right in front of the entrance and behind the 1s and 2s, playing Mos Def's "Ms. Fat Booty."
This is what my friends and I experienced this past Saturday night at Vermont Restaurant, after checking out the Dresden and Tiger Lily (both un-hyphy and packed).
We just wanted to get our drink on and decided to go to Vermont Restaurant since it seemed chill and loungey.
We didn't expect to have track after track of great hip-hop music to go along with it. This is the perfect place to chill, have a smoke, and drink if you're in the E. Hollywood area.
My drink count for the night, after drinking heavily since Wednesday, (and I only remember this because for some weird reason my memory gets better the more I get drunk):
1. Double Grey Goose rocks
2. Single Grey Goose rocks
3. Shot of Patron
4. Grey Goose tonic
5. Grey Goose tonic
In the words of Kanye West: "..if I'm unfaithful, blame it on the Grey Goose..."

I've heard this from other people that the service has gone down the tubes. My partner sister and I were going to go for my birthday this coming weekend, but I don't want to chance it now. Thanks for the heads up. The thing that's important about this review, is the consistancy by word of mouth from other foodies.
